Permanently reduced handling time

PUSHBACK TROLLEY SYSTEMS FROM AQS OPTIMISE THE LIFO PRINCIPLE

  • Pushback trolley systems are an alternative to pallet LIFO roller conveyors
  • Efficient solution for storage according to the "Last in - First out" principle (LIFO)
  • The Pushback Trolley System is not dependent of the quality of the pallets
  • Also suitable for damaged or shrink-wrapped pallets.
  • Also suitable for mesh pallets, steel pallets or transversely stored pallets
  • Longitudinal and transverse storage of load carriers possible
  • The system is particularly suitable for use in the freeze environments
  • Possible to retrofit in "Drive In" racks

ADVANTAGES OF THE AQS PUSHBACK TROLLEY SYSTEMS

  • Horizontal type only: no product to product contact during the unloading process because the pallets do not touch each other
  • Horizontal type only: the pallets are always horizontal during storage/retrieval
  • Horizontal type only: Sensitive goods or unstable stacked goods remain intact at all times. No pallet to pallet contact, no force application
  • Horizontal type only: Operation possible with forktrucks without tilting mast
  • The trolleys run particularly smoothly on steel rollers with high quality ball bearings.
  • With only 2.5% of inclination of the rail track, minimal pushing force is required for storage, even with heavy pallets
  • Up to 6 pallets deep in one channel up to 1250 kg per pallet
  • Up to 5 trolleys in one channel
  • Clear information about the available pallet spaces through colour-coded stop plates
  • Very low maintenance, easy to replace system components
  • Easy to assemble, existing pallet racks can easily be retrofitted.
  • Special dimensions and higher payloads possible for special pallets

PBT TYPES AND DESIGNS

PUSHBACK TROLLEY HORIZONTAL VERSION
Horizontal storage with pushback trolley protects goods
  • The upper surface of the Pushback Trolley is horizontal.
  • Particularly suitable for high pallets
  • The side wheel carriages of the horizontal trolleys are a tapered design, they compensate for the inclination of the rail system.
  • It is possible to work with the standard forktrucks without mast inclination.
  • It is much easier for the operator of the forktruck, which saves time and increases efficiency
  • thus: overall more productive, faster loading/unloading and less product damage
  • Particularly advantageous in the freezer environments.  Cooling air circulates between the individually free-standing pallets
  • The pallets are always placed horizontally on the trolleys
  • Horizontal, right-angled pallets do not touch each other during storage
  • Thrust forces during storage do not go into the goods but into the stable trolley
  • Damage to the stored goods and tipping over of stacked crates is avoided
  • Lengthwise and crosswise storage and 4 different pallet types and grades of Trolley possible
PUSHBACK TROLLEY STANDARD VERSION
Systems for forktrucks with mast inclination and for less sensitive goods
  • Low-priced standard version with inclined loading platform
  • Very robust construction compared to competitors
  • The trolleys accommodate the 2.5% incline of the rail system
  • For forktrucks without mast tilt (is often the standard), the tilt is not compensated for
  • The products on the pallet make contact against each other at their top edge when stored
  • The thrust forces during storage go into the stored goods
  • The standard trolley track is more suitable for goods/packages that are not sensitive to impact.
  • Lengthwise and crosswise storage and four different pallet types and grades per trolley possible
  • if the stored goods consist of stacked boxes, for example, the stack should be securely wrapped

FUNCTIONALITY AND COMPONENTS

The trolleys of different sizes run on a rail system with a rail inclination of approx. 2.5%.  Due to the conical design of the individual trolleys, the storage level remains in a horizontal position. When the storage channel is empty, all trolleys are arranged one above the other on the operating side.

During the storage process, the top trolley is loaded with a pallet first.  The next pallet pushes this trolley backwards into the channel at the colour-coded stop plates.  This frees up the next trolley below, on which the pallet is then placed.  This loading process is repeated until the channel is filled. The last pallet inserted then stands directly on the rails of the trolley system.

During the retrieval process, the procedure is reversed accordingly.  After the pallets have been retrieved, the corresponding trolleys automatically return to the operating side due to the inclination of the rails.

Pallets of various different qualities (type and quality) can be stored without any problems.
Use on front angle beam (preferred)
Use on front box beam also possible

  • Rollers can be easily exchanged
  • Brushes for rail cleaning (optional)
  • Dislodge protection at the first pallet location (optional)
  • Level indicator through colour-coded stop plates
  • These stop plates also serve as insertion push plates
  • Centre support of the pallet skids at the first pallet position (optional)
  • Special dimensions are possible for special pallets

AQS - Solution

The well thought-out, robust design of the trolley system supports 2 or even 3 skids and is therefore independent of the quality of the pallets. Even damaged pallets can be stored.
