The trolleys of different sizes run on a rail system with a rail inclination of approx. 2.5%. Due to the conical design of the individual trolleys, the storage level remains in a horizontal position. When the storage channel is empty, all trolleys are arranged one above the other on the operating side.
During the storage process, the top trolley is loaded with a pallet first. The next pallet pushes this trolley backwards into the channel at the colour-coded stop plates. This frees up the next trolley below, on which the pallet is then placed. This loading process is repeated until the channel is filled. The last pallet inserted then stands directly on the rails of the trolley system.
During the retrieval process, the procedure is reversed accordingly. After the pallets have been retrieved, the corresponding trolleys automatically return to the operating side due to the inclination of the rails.
